Toys R Us madness rages on and these die-hard fanboys don’t even flinch. Even upon hearing of the thousands upon thousands of units ready for go in Times Square, these guys are still gonna keep it real at Nintendo World.

By midnight, there were nearly 250 people waiting in line. Some pre-order elites even showed up, with a glint of hope towards some unexpected midnight sales. No such luck. Instead we were left to stare through the window like kids gazing into a candy store, watching the employees stock up the store for launch. Tons of consoles, remotes, chucks, and classic controllers to go around. Through a complex system of holding a hand-written sign up to the window, we confirmed that they would have no component cables on hand for launch. To the lucky few who got them via mail-order, you’re lucky.

This is more or less an update to let you know: Toys R Us party be damned, this is where the hardcore fans are at. I’m going to grab a quick nap and head back out to pick up my pre-order at 6, as well as witness the mayhem that results from the first-come-first-serve rush that begins at 8. Starbucks, give me strength.
