Rebel pixel artist TakaM is currently working on a game called Twinsen. Last night he released what he calls a Pilot Episode, which basically is a demo . The game looks great and plays great. It’s even better if you play with a gamepad.

Twinsen is a platforming game that focuses on the main character Twinsen in his world after it is greatly altered by evil alien TV network executives, he sets off to find out what is going on, how to return his planet to its normal state and to be reunited with his family.

Here’s the controls for those who haven’t figured them out

• f4 - toggle full screen
• shift - run
• z - jump
• x - sword
• c - magic ball
• enter - start
• arrow keys - move

If you’re using a gamepad, you’ll need joy2key

TakaM tells me that there’s some hidden secret in the game, can you find them?
