Computer and Video Games got some nice screen shots of the Wii browser.
The article says you’ll need to pay for the opera browser after six months, but someone from NeoGaf contacted Opera to clarify this, and this is the answer he got:
For the first six months, Opera on Wii is free. If you download it during that
period, it is free forever. You will not have to pay again after the first six
months. It is only if you download it after the first six months that you will have
to pay a one-time fee for the browser.
I want to bite the screen. It looks scrumptious.

@ Fush - Wii Play is a Wii Sports-like collection of minigames… But it hasn’t been announced for release in the US or Europe. :’[

Looking great right now, but one little thing that I have noticed is that the Sans-Serif font they’re using at the game start screen (like where it shows Zelda TP, ready to start) looks a little inconsistant. Some of the characters’ lowest point are slightly above the low point of other characters, making it look a little uneven to me. But I’m betting they’ll fix it, because it’s such a trivial thing to do.

Very cool - I like this whole “free if you get it early” dealy. Microsoft did the same with with Texas Hold’em and Totemball (mind you it was only for the first 48 hours these titles were available) and it made 360 folks very happy.
