You may have caught these goodies in News Get, but I think they deserve their own little post. Behold the greatest handheld carrying case ever — the DS lite zip case, available for only 250 points to Club Nintendo members in Japan. Not exactly sure how new these are (actually, I think they’ve been around for a while), but they fill me with great sadness.
Why, oh why, can’t Nintendo of Japan share Club Nintendo goodies with the rest of the world? Why doesn’t NOA make some cool stuff of its own to reward loyal customers in the West? Think of the money that could be made by selling the products! I just don’t get it. Until something is done, if anyone has one of these cases to sell, drop me a line, eh?

Ok, I really have to sign up for Club Nintendo. I have so many ponts right now. I wonder what I could get…

I’m totally gonna make some of those. Sewing skills for the win!

Vinnk - You should be ashamed of yourself

grrrrr… we’d better get points for the wii… I’ve registered too many games to be ignored!!

I am very ashamed of myself….

I have 335 points right now, but I moved back to the States. I could be persuaded to sell them for a price.

Vinnk, can’t we all just buy things through you, PLEASE!?
NapoleonThe12th - 10.11.06 12:55 am
If any of you have bought a lot of import games and have points saved, AND would be willing to pay the shipping. I might be able to help a few of you get some of this swag. Go to the forums and send me a PM.

I definitely gotta write a nice email to a japanese friend of mine…. anyway, we´re not even having an official Nintendo Club in Austria which sucks so bad, I can´t tell here!!!
They´ve all of a sudden just quit all their business here and been replaced by a private company to distribute their products. What a f**** shame indeed - and a nono for any goods whatsoever NoE may be selling!

I NEED THE RAINBOW OF STYLUSES (or Styli, I am not certain).
I will do basically anything, likely including the killing of a man.

Wow, the selection on offer with Nintendo Europe’s “VIP” membership pales so much in comparison!

Yeah, I saw these on the “news Get” and was floored. I carry my DS with me all the time and I really want to get a caase for it. These would be perfect. The ones available in the states are all lousy lookiing or so big and clunky that it defeats the purpose of having a small, portable game system.

They have these in the UK, but they are embroidered logos, and obviously not free.
DS doesn’t need a case really.. it fits snug in jeans without one.

I enrolled in Club Nintendo a few weeks back after moving here. I have 90 points so far from 3 games. I wonder how many points I’ll get for the Wii console?
What do you think Vinnk?

man i love my copy of game and watch!! noa sucks!

Have many people tried to contact Nintendo directly regarding this? And I don’t mean Nintendo customer support. I mean some of the people with clout over there.
I’ve been saying the same thing for a long time.
The american Nintendo registration code system is a joke. Why is it so difficult for them to have the same reward point program here? They should definitely bring it here and use all of our currently registered products from several years back to retroactively give us points to use.
Shit, I’m still pissed off because we don’t got color matching straps for the DS Lites here in the U.S.
Can of you guys post up a review or pics of the Game & Watch DS Game that the club in Japan was offering? So the left out losers like myself can see it.

So what’s the difference between club nintendo and the Super Mario Club
Anonymous - 10.11.06 3:49 pm
right on carlos, and further more - aside from wii points for registrations, why not simply unlock the games that we’ve already purchased on the virtual console. ie. gameboy classics, etc.
That would simply free up more money for me to purchase new games, nintendo… wink wink.

SPENCE - where dotheyhave them in the UK?
