No TGS coverage would be complete without a pictorial of the girls who work hard without much coverage at all. I am of course talking about the booth babes. Skilled in the art of getting me to try games I don’t want to play and take pamphlets I don’t want to read. Here are a few of my favorites.
(NOTE: This post may not be safe for work. Unless you work in a bikini factory or something like that.)
A group of girls putting on a show in honor of Dead or Alive Extreme 2. I couldn’t get a better photo because there was a huge mob of people surrounding the stage.
Sega had dozens of girls walking around their booth some of them knew the games pretty well too.
As if the new installment of Phoenix Wright wasn’t exciting enough they had they large collared girls handing out flyers for the game.
The shiniest girls at the show were in the Softbank booth.
I am a fan of the Space Channel 5-esque shirts the Namco Bandai gals were wearing.
She is restocking her pile of flyers and fans to give out to attendees.
No TGS pictorial would be complete without a girl in a maid outfit.

It’s always a difficult situation when 2 of your girlfriends meet each other. I am trying hard not to panic.
A sexy show was being held for the new installment of Onechanbara. The finest Cowboy-hat-and-biniki-wearing-sword-slashing-zombi-killing game in the world.
The theme of this booth was “orange” and I think they accomplished it.
A Kasumi pillow is being modeled by the Tecmo Twins.
Jools was very excited to be in a picture with this young lady.
In my opinion SNK had the best booth babes this year. There was a legion of these girls posing and smiling all around the SNK Playmore booth.
This fancy costume and the girl wearing it were found in the Sega booth.
She was about a foot taller than the other girls in her booth.
Tokyo Game Show brings people together.
I wasn’t sure what this girl was selling, but I think I bought three.

Outside a Pachi-slot game booth, this girl wouldn’t let me leave until I saw her game related temporary tattoo.

Finally some guys that aren’t in Asia can see through this myth that all Japanese girls are gorgeous. They aren’t. In fact some are atrocious - I would say a majority from my experience of being in Japan, and can say the same for Korea, China, Taiwan, and Thailand as well.
P.S. For some reason, Japanese girls have worse teeth than I’ve seen in other Asian countries. It would be interesting to know why, kind of like the stereotype that British people have awful teeth?

Neat pics, I guess, but I always prefer new information over booth babes, probably always will.
And with those bad teeth well… in Japan, its a cultural thing to have bad teeth, and well, people actually LIKE it for some reason. I found this out because at my house we have students stay at our house that (mostly) come from Japan, and one of the students had that teeth thing. Well, we asked the guy in charge of the home stays about the teeth deal, and he told us it’s actually preferred to have teeth like that in Japan vs. not having teeth like that. So stop complaining about the teeth, because they want teeth like that for some reason.

Maybe because they actually WANT to introduce new gamers, both old and young, FROM BOTH GENDERS. These guys don’t care about the gamers, they want the money, and you can tell by these gay acts.
This is the difference the separates the lazy ass developers, and the ones who actually care about making games.

I’ll have to agree with the booth babes often masking the quality of the game. There were tons of Coded Arms booth girls and they were very good at bringing people in. The game was so bad no one would have come otherwise.
