And just when the official 4cr podcast is going on vacation, the underground movement comes to a head and the Forumites take over. Unprompted by the 4cr staff, several members of the 4cr Forums decided to get together and host their own roundtable. That’s what we like to see! Proactive community members. Best of all, we didn’t have to do any work!
So check out the first (of what I hope is many) 4cr Forumites podcast. The Forumites discuss gaming difficulty and we also have a poem from the Game Poets Society to top it all off.
Enjoy the show and leave feedback for the Forumites… or better head, go join them!

Megaman 1…. hard?
Wha????
JDavis - 09.04.06 11:24 pm
wow sideath is so british!
Boots - 09.04.06 11:43 pm
Megaman 1 is hard! I still haven’t beaten it on the anniversary collection! Ice Man and… Guts Man? keep foiling my plans to murder them and steal their robot essences!
If I wasn’t a child of the 80s I wouldn’t believe anyone had ever beaten Megaman 1.
amanaplan - 09.04.06 11:50 pm
Actually, I beat it but that was with saving. I wouldn’t have the willpower to keep going after all of those game overs >_
Arcanis - 09.05.06 12:06 am
I’ve beaten Megaman 1 multiple times over. On the actual NES. Meaning no saves.
JDavis - 09.05.06 1:02 am
I played MegaMan so much back in the NES days that I can
practically beat it with my eyes closed. Well, I will admit
that the Dr.Wily levels are a little challenge.
realstar - 09.05.06 6:50 am
As the podcast discussed difficulty levels, the game that keep coming to mind was GoldenEye for N64 (one of the few FPS games I’ve ever really gotten into). I played that game through on normal, but had so much fun playing the game on the most difficult setting. It added SO MUCH to the game, including much frustration. But I really enjoyed trying to beat it on the hardest setting. For instance, on the snow levels with the sniper rifle, the harder setting forces you to really use the rifle smart and be very caredul about being seen.
Gravitymachine - 09.05.06 9:29 am
I knew this would happen, nice job everyone!
Let me in on the next one, eh?
yanipheonu - 09.05.06 10:13 am
Please stick your nose into the forums if you’re interested
Sideath - 09.05.06 2:14 pm
Megaman 1 is do-able for me up until the boss that splits apart. I’ve never tried it again after getting so frustrated…
Joey - 09.05.06 4:33 pm
LOVE IT!!! Do it again….with the same people lol.
legoguysfriend - 09.05.06 10:12 pm
