Se7en Deadly Comics

Remember that movie Se7en? Yeah, the one with Morgan Freeman, Brad Pitt, and Kevin Spacey. Well if you haven’t seen it, you should watch it. The movie tells the story of two detectives as they investigate a strange series of murders. John Doe, the murderer, picks his targets carefully and kills each one because they are guilty of one of the seven deadly sins. Well the movie doesn’t reveal too much about the murderer, hence the name John Doe.

This is where Zenoscope Entertainment is trying to fill in the gap. Starting this September, Zenoscope will put out a new monthly comic exploring the mind of John Doe as he murders another victim. Each book will be handled by a different creative team starting with Raven Gregory(The Gift) and Tommy Castillo(Detective Comics) on Gluttony in September. There is a lot of potential in this project; so even if you don’t read comics, or you haven’t seen the movie, or anything else, you should pick this up and try it out anyways. You just might like it.
