It looks like our favorite little N64 fanatic and internet celebrity is also soon to be about a grand (and counting!) richer. Mosey on over to this eBay listing and you too can be the owner of the one and only N64 owned by the N64 kid. Initially, the package only consisted of the N64 and Star Wars: Shadows of the Empire, but I suppose when the bidding got hot and heavy it was decided that 3 more games should be added into the mix. It’s like the gamer version of a piece of toast with Jesus on it! I can’t help but feel a little proud that 4cr, in some way, helped some random kid get a $1000 richer.
We try and do our part folks.

That lucky little brat.
first!
Luigifan14 - 08.08.06 10:52 pm
I read that the kid is now not even a gamer but a skateboarding punk who can’t talk like a normal person.
Boots - 08.08.06 10:55 pm
Hey, wait. I put a piece of toast with Jesus on it on eBay for real just the other day, and it didn’t sell. Not at all.
Good luck.

- Looking through old family movies now.
- Seeing what objects are in them.
- Putting the movies on Youtube.
- Then putting the objects on eBay.
Here comes the $$$!!!!
Anyone interested in my 1982 bicycle with trainer wheels? The bidding starts at $500.
werdnawee - 08.08.06 11:07 pm
Heh. I see Vinnk placed a bid on the N64.
Hamblasto - 08.08.06 11:10 pm
My 64 is gonna be in the Smithsonian.
Michael Tucker - 08.08.06 11:18 pm
No way anybody is actually going to pay that.
AdamBot - 08.08.06 11:30 pm
when i first saw this i thought to myself “good for that kid”, then i read that he isnt even a gamer anymore and i was disgusted
Vampire - 08.09.06 12:05 am
Yeah, 1k richer and missing 1 perfectly good N64.
Arcanis - 08.09.06 12:47 am
So all I have to do is act like a retard when I open my Wii, and I can sell it for over $1000. Got it.
I hate people on ebay. This is just like when people were bidding 2000 dollars or MORE in January 2005 for Brownsville snow. SNOW! You know, that white stuff that half of the US finds in their backyard every year? Someone paid 2500 bucks for a BUCKET of it!
AAAAHHHHHHH!!! *kills some random old person*
*realizes it was his long-lost great grandfather*
NOOOOOOOOO!!!!!
Hurricane Mario - 08.09.06 12:48 am
Hurricane Mario- I think you’re just mad because you didn’t open up the 64 like you were on crack, and didn’t put it on eBay. Don’t be jealous. I’d be surprised if anyone even buys the thing.

N64 Kid is dead -
LONG LIVE SNES KID!!! (me)
PeanuT - 08.09.06 7:09 am
Dry your eyes people, envy is an ugly thing =’D
Malmer - 08.09.06 7:54 am
SELLOUT!!11!1!!!1!
I once sold my n64, now I can’t sleep at night.
ughe - 08.09.06 8:15 am
I would’ve kept the N64, personally.
Sideath - 08.09.06 8:41 am
If he’s not a gamer anymore, then he may as well sell it. Someone else will appreciate it more, and everyone is happy.
…
Especially when he’s opening his presents.
wht.rbt - 08.09.06 9:06 am
Smart enough. Now that he’s famous(or infamous) he can make alot of money. I wonder if it reaches 2K.
Dym - 08.09.06 10:08 am
Why would anyone spend a grand on that? In a couple of months, everyone will have forgotten about him.
Duncan - 08.09.06 10:20 am
Knock it off with the “first post” crap, this isn’t Slashdot.
amanaplan - 08.09.06 11:04 am
I don’t get why people spend money on stuff like this… but if they have the money to waste on it, whatever. What would you even do with this?
Two months from now:
“Hey, I got the N64 Kid’s original N64!”
“Who?”
Tony - 08.09.06 11:07 am
$1000 for that?
Who in the hell would buy that?
Not only is he not a gamer anymore, but whoopdee doo.
Like Tony said
Bitchin - 08.09.06 11:18 am
I feel bad for whoever is shelling $1000+ for a little piece of internet fame that will be forgotten in a few years.
pete - 08.09.06 11:34 am
Yeah, I bid on it..
Vinnk - 08.09.06 11:42 am
PeanuT, that has given me the inspiration to find the video of when I got my Sega Genesis around 1992-1993
celebi23 - 08.09.06 11:52 am
‘this isn’t Slashdot.’
thank god
aros2k - 08.09.06 12:15 pm
Wahooo.. 1k for a friggin n64?
Oh god… Why?? Why wasn’t I so hysterical and hystrionical when I got mine, I could have someone videotape it and make myself rich…
Maybe because I bought it myself after saving during 3 years (I was just saving for the sake of it, mind you, had no idea it was the n64 what I would end up buying) and had already 12… who knows.
Yeah, I was a boring boy… maybe I still am so that’s why I don’t get ludicrous amounts of money for no good reason.
radorn - 08.09.06 1:02 pm
I once gave away every n64 game i ever owned except for yoshi story. Am I a bad person?
shiftup - 08.09.06 1:05 pm
well yoshi is happy
mumurphya - 08.09.06 1:40 pm
Am I the only person who thinks this whole “phenomenon” has been as over-extended beyond the 15 minutes of fame as Paris Hilton or other non-celebrities?
geekRECON - 08.09.06 4:43 pm
That’s pretty pathetic: people are buying it.
[MaSQuE] - 08.09.06 5:01 pm
“Hurricane Mario- I think you’re just mad because you didn’t open up the 64 like you were on crack, and didn’t put it on eBay. Don’t be jealous. I’d be surprised if anyone even buys the thing.”
Yes, and that people are stupid enough to actually buy it. THe winning bid was $1051!
Like I said, I’m opening my Wii like I’m on crack and posting it on youtube! (as are hundreds of other people, I’m sure.)
Hurricane Mario - 08.09.06 6:13 pm
That video was so funny. It’s to this day one of my favorite youtube videos. Ah, good ‘ol Nintendo 64, how many people you made smile.
And as for the final price of $1051…awesome! Way to go!

This is completly stupid. He isn’t a true gamer. The N64 Kid is just some burned out skate punk who is taking advantage of his internet celebrity status. I sold my N64 one time, but I bought it all back month later. How anyone could live without an N64, I’ll never know.
Lennybot - 08.10.06 3:19 pm
Good question Lennybot, ‘how can one survive whilst deprived of N64′.
[MaSQuE] - 08.10.06 4:50 pm
that is amazing. its worth a million dollars at least.
