Hello Player 1

There is no film I’m looking forward to as much as ‘The Fountain’, Darren Aronofsky’s upcoming tale of love, time travel, and the search for the Foutain of Youth. The project was, from day one, marked by a great deal of turmoil, with Brad Pitt’s walk-off from the set bringing production to a complete halt. Aronofsky wouldn’t give up, and immediately went on to make an acclaimed graphic novel of the story with Kent Williams for DC Vertigo. The film soon resumed production with Hugh Jackman and Rachel Weisz replacing Pitt and Cate Blanchett (I much prefer the new couple), and it’s finally due out this October.
I haven’t had a chance to read the graphic novel yet, but judging from the film’s trailer, it looks absolutely phenomenal. I don’t think I’ve ever quite seen anything like it. If Aronofsky’s previous films – Pi, Requiem for a Dream – are any indication, we’re in for an incredible experience at the theater come this Fall.
Check out the teaser first, then the full trailer – it’s cool that way
