Penny Arcade forumer Kouri1977 has painted and swanked up his old DS to resemble a Koopa Troopa shell. The results are nothing short of rad. I am sure that if Nintendo released more special edition systems like this, we probably wouldn’t have minded so much that the original DS was such an eyesore.
Please do not confuse this mod with an actual Koopa Troopa shell. Jumping on it repeatedly while on a stairway will not help you rack up infinite lives. It will just piss off your parents.
This only helps prove the DS Phat as the ultimate system to mod.
How long til we start seeing DS lite mods?

Oh, and about that little DS Lite mod thing, I was at EB Games today and saw a skin for the DS Lite that kinda looked like a whole bunch of Tetris blocks for about… ah $7.00 give or take a dollar.

Good, quality made skins for DSLight, i bought a carbon fiber skin from there but the polar white is so sleek and sexy i couldn’t get myself to use the skin…

Hmmm, after seeing the same pic of the same Modded DS multiple times on the internet, I’m convinced to mod my ds phat… i have everything planned out, but i’m not sure if there’s a specific paint i should be using… anyone have ideas? i think that paint for model cars would do fine, but i’m not entirely sure yet…
