My weekend will be spent doing super fun school stuff and watching Football. Might sneak in a few video game sessions (to relieve stress, of course) as well. Here are a few things that I enjoyed reading (or listening to) this week that are worth checking out.
For your listening pleasure we have a brand new Gaming Podcast from NPR and a full collection of Ouendan Music Videos. Also, check out this wonderful video of Life According to Space Invaders.
Next are two features; the first about The Best Games Never Published and the second about Game Ideas/Mechanics that Changed Gaming Forever.
Finally we wrap up with two zines. The first is a new one called The Art of Gaming. The little section on the beautiful pixel artwork of Metal Slug is nice. And of course, still the best video game commentary out there, Issue 49 of The Escapist talks about the rising power and impact that China will have on gaming.
