The Eatpoo forums is a fantastic contemporary art forum that I found via Derek Yu’s website a while back. While there’s often very interesting pieces to look at in a variety of mediums, one of the shining points of the forum is the weekly activities they have. Wasn’t I surpised to find out that the current one is on their favorite 8-bit games. If you liked I Am 8-bit or any of those other game art shows, then I’m sure you’ll quite enjoy these artist’s renditions of classic characters.

The Guardian Legend one rocks.

its bad when the arts bad

So true Mike, so true. Perhaps you should post the art from your website and show them how it’s done?

No, he’s totally right. People shouldn’t make art unless it’s good. However subjective that interpretation is.
And they definitely shouldn’t post it in an art forum where they can get comments and critiques.
Sheesh.

Cool art. I should try some videogame art too. Drawing is the only thing that never gets boring.
