I’ve mentioned how impressed I was with Ubisoft while at E3. The company had a great showing of games and some really fun and cool booth displays. The booth for Rayman: Raving Rabbids was probably the cutest booth at the show.
At the Raving Rabbids booth there were ton of slightly demented looking stuffed bunnies and running next to them on video where some absolutely hysterical animated shorts. Ubisoft knows they have gold on their hands and are releasing these shorts one at a time. Well, here is the first one. Scientific Fact #1 - Bunnies Can’t Play Soccer. Brilliant!

I remember on the last day of the show someone from the Ubisoft booth said we could take some of the bunnies if we were discreet. So we come back at the end of the show and that guy’s not there. I start to take one, but it was tethered down by a big wire.
Furthermore, some guy from Ubisoft came by five minutes later and took them all away. To add more insult to injury, while I was on the shuttle back to the hotel, this guy walked by with one in his backpack.
Oh Ubisoft, how you made a powerful enemy that day…

The entire marketing campaign for the game has been very effective. The humour reminds me of Monty Python - outlandish, chaotic nonsensical fun.
