Early Super Smash Bros Brawl – Beta Footage
Before Nintendo convinced Masahiro Sakurai to come back and direct the new Super Smash Bros Brawl game, Nintendo had a very different route in mind for the series. Deciding to take the classic franchise in a new direction, Nintendo hoped to draw in older gamers with this decidedly more mature take on the series.
Luckily for us, Sakurai did come back and smacked everyone in the head and put the game back on track. Take a look at the following video to see what could have been.
