I wish there were Eternal Champions style finshing move (where you hit them just right in a certain location, and the background kills them somehow).
Minus actual deaths of course.

I just want the background to do more then just look good or give you a log to stand on.

Snake is looking good on the Wii. I wonder if Konami will revamp that Twin Snakes character model once the Wii hits full power so they render all the facial hair *joking*

Well even if he can’t wield a gun, it’s nice to have him as a character. He has a long relationship with Nintendo that most don’t consider or understand.

If only the consistency of these character updates was indicative of the regularity with which smash bros information is going to trickle down to us, we’d always have something to look forward to!

They could slowly go through new pics and bios for all the characters we just know are in it (mario, Link, kirby, etc) then slowly work up to ones that of course we expect (Varia suit Samus, Peach, Bowser, etc, etc) and finally the remaining newcomers.

It would be an exciting countdown for avid fans. Sakurai has indicated that maintaining the smash bros news site is very important to him.

The trailer that revealed this has been out for over a week, so I’m surprised it took this long for this post to arrive. Yes, we’ve got a lot of anxious waiting ahead. Fortunately, I think this game is looking just as it should.

I wonder if some of the stages will be played at different angles other than a 2D linear perspective? I know that for the most part, they’re rotating the stages to get interesting shots, but wouldn’t that be cool?

Crossovers I want:

- Kingdom Hearts-esque game with Nintendo Characters
(Though there has been mention that the 1-p game of Brawl will be much much deeper. Here’s hoping to a full blown story mode, with a classic and adventure pulled into the mix.)

-_-’ Obviously not. They haven’t even gotten rights to all the characters the want. AND most if not all the old melee characters will be returning.

I hope they don’t take people from other non-Nintendo made games, I think Snakes enough. But of course there will be more than just those charecters.

I always thought an MVC-style Nintendo vs Sega game would be pretty awesome, but that was pretty much only because of the off-chance Ulala might be a playable character.

Since they have one Konami character, perhaps Simon Belmont isn’t far behind.

I cool move for snake would be sort of like a combination of kirbys rock smash and yoshi’s egg move. Snake would jump above the enemy and do the rock smash style thing, but instead he would hold a cardboard box under him and trap the person inside it

Ok, here’s the deal. Not all the Melee bros. will be returning. Here’s my list:

Ice Climbers: A glitchy character that was very cheap when handled correctly. Also, I suspect to see a clone character with a different moveset.

Ganon/Captain Falcon: Ganon can be taking out because he didn’t do anything for Melee. Straight up clone. But on the other hand, Falcon has been in both past games. Seeing him in Brawl would be nothing to root about and just take up a character slot.

Peach: Man this was a cheap character. Probably added with the beginners in mind. She can float, pull out objects and is both a long reach and close combat character. If they don’t take her out, she should have a different moveset.

Mr.Game and Watch: Felt more like a joke than an actual addition. Don’t take me wrong, I think GW is a great character, but he is a little cheap. Gaining kills is a sinch if you know how to use him, but I assume this is the least used character in the game. Seeing him in Brawl might be possible but unlikely.

Pikchu: I think it goes unsaid.

Now characters that will stay are:

Luigi: It is inevitable that the man in green will come back. He is Mario’s comic relief for the game afterall. I suspect that if they don’t bring him back in his last form, he might return as, say, Luigi from Luigi’s Mansion (which will be complimented with a great stage to brawl in).

JigglyPuff: Hear me out. He/she/it will most likely return for Brawl. This is due to the fact that JigglyPuff is almost as well known as Pickachu, and is also a “joke” character–given to you just for trying out 1st player mode in Melee. It’s made it’s mark in Smash Bros., and seeing this pokemon gone might unbalance the other Pokemon the team chooses to put in Brawl. If it is out, it might be replaced with Pikchu (that is if that monster gets in the game).

Well, there’s more but I grew tire from typing.

I’m thinking that any NES classic characters are ripe for inclusion. Look at the GBA NES classics line and you’ll see what I mean. Belmont is def. a possibility considering Castlevania originally appeared on the NES. Maybe we’ll also see Bomberman? Perhaps a little Pac-Man love? Little Mac?

Personally, I’d love to see Capt. Olimar in there. The Pikmin attack possibilities write themselves!

And if we don’t get a vacuum Luigi, we could at least get Prof. E. Gadd… that way we get some vacuum and water pack lovin’

And I hope and pray for a Cel-da Link. I mean, they put in Young Link… why not just give the little doe eyed guy a chance to fight?

I could never get into Smash Bros, but I have to say this game has my attention for one reason and Nintendo aren’t going to like it - the graphics. It looks outstanding already.

Yes if these people were in it this game would make millions of dollars. this system would put the other 2 systems (playstation and x-box) out of business. And all super smash bros games are my favorite.
