No you perverts, the title doesn’t sound dirty.
Regardless, Jeux-France has some scans from the latest Shonen Jump Magazine that gives us all a sneak peek at Monkey Ball: Banana Blitz and One Piece: Unlimited Adventure, both of which are being developed for the Wii.
All I’m saying is that Monkey Ball better be a launch title. I haven’t had a game that overloaded me with hilarious and cute action in way too long. Err, not that I’m into things that are cute…

Monkey Ball looks like it’ll be fun at parties.

My Wii is fun at parties!
…
*sigh*
I still haven’t played a monkey ball game
but they look like loads of fun (and hey, who doesn’t like bananas?!)

In a MonkeyBall game you’re not moving the monkey……You’re Tilting the stage!!
This is why the one for the Wii will be So cool!!!!

(Even though the graphics aren’t important) Monkey ball for Wii looks a bit better that the NGC (the ball looks shinier).
I always loved the level design of these games and the replay value (Monkey target on GC, brilliant). Playing on the Wii-mote will be hilarious.

Fun-looking titles. I can’t wait until E3!

Actually, I’m really curious to see what Sony’s offering up, as well. They’ve been real quiet as of late.

It could be cool, or it could result in as much cursing as the DS version due to the lack of a self-centering control device.
Think about it…. you can never, ever relax your hands during a MBBB level or you will probably send your monkey off into the stratosphere.

What?!?! Sony???
This is a Article on Monkeyball and some other Wii game……

You were tilting the stage on all the Monkeyball games. That’s not a new concept for this title.
I mostly cannot wait for E3 so we can stop relying on horrible scans lol.

Its great to se a One Piece game. I love the manga and anime (that is not counting the dub of course) and it will be interesting to se how this turns out.

Those games both looks coo!!
I hope to see trailers at e3.

Awesome. It’s great to see screenshots of Nintendo Wii games trickling in slowly. Monkey Ball: Banana Blitz and One piece are looking good, though it’s a bit tough to see just how good from scans alone. Nintendo’s Pre-E3 conference is in only four more days though…so soon, all will be revealed.

Monkey target was amazing in monkey ball2. that better show up again.
designerwhite - 05.05.06 10:13 pm
Both games look like they could run on current gen consoles. Granted the art style really limits the Rev. being able to show off what it can do, but still - not impressed
JFK90787 - 05.05.06 11:14 pm
Target was so much better in Monkey Ball 1 and we all know it.
I just hope this has a good bunch of new puzzles and not just mini games and stuff, I want puzzles! More like 1 puzzles, not the crazy 2 puzzles either. SMB1 for life!

Don’t worry, Michael! You won’t have to wait till the Wii for more hilarious and cute action! Super Monkey Ball Adventure is coming for GCN I believe in July. Also, from what I heard Banana Blitz will indeed be a launch title (one that I will get with my Wii and the new Smash Bros.) and you can now flick up the Wiimote to make AiAi and the gang jump! This will add lots of new aspects to the games well-designed puzzles, and I am really looking foreward to it. Well, not that I wasn’t before, lol i have the GBA one the DS one and both GCN ones so I need to complete my collection of awesome monkey balling.

The Super Monkey Ball game didn’t load when I clicked the link, said I needed to log in. Oh well, SMB seems to be evolving into a deadbeat franchise of rehash version after rehash. And One Piece sounds like a cheesey anime game.
BreakfastPills - 05.06.06 10:09 am
Breakfastpills: Yes, it’s the same for me.

You Never have anything good to say do you?
Dark Mithan - 05.06.06 4:15 pm
I’m hoping the Wiimote will serve as the stage in SMB. You could hold it sideways in both your hands. Hold it horizontal, the stage is horizontal. Tilt it sideways and the stage tilts sideways. Tilt it forward and the stage tilts forward. And all that to the exact angles and speeds at which you tilt the Wiimote. So much control!
