Hello Player 1

Looks like we missed an important bit of news from last month. Nintendo has now added 4 new titles to the Gamecube Player’s Choice library. Sporting a new price tag of $19.99 MSRP are Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door, Pikmin 2, The Legend of Zelda: Four Swords Adventures and Star Fox: Assault.
Hit the stores now to take advantage of those great deals!
Four Nintendo GameCube best sellers sport a new price!

Hey will wii get the same deal over here in Europe? I hope so, I fancy some Pikin 2 for under £20.
Ryan on May 3, 2006 at 12:23 pm
hope this happens in the UK I’ve never bought paper mario 2 because it has always been full price here, even when pre owned and in crappy condition:S

Four Swords is the only Zelda game I haven’t played (well, that and the CD-i game). Somehow I feel like I’m letting Princess Zelda down. But not for long!

I’m hoping to pick up Pikmin 2 at the $30 (canadian) range before they get the new packaging out. It seems though that some stores aren’t honoring this all the time…

Pikmin 2! Finally affordable.
It’s a shame that I’m not going to buy it anymore.

You should play FSA, I was reluctant to get it because I heard it was fun multiplayer only, though I played through the entire thing single player and thought it was great.
Better than TMC in my opinion…it was disapointing. (like all of Capcom/Flagship’s Zelda games

I hope that Europeans like me will soon be ale to get Starfox Assault and Pikmin 2 for something like 30€.
That would be sweet.

I Just bought Paper Mario but I’ll buy the other three for $30 each. (Canadian) Still have to buy Resident Evil 4 though and finish the first Pikmin.
Joey-Future Shop and Best Buy are already honoring the $30 price.
here’s a link for you, only 3 left

FINALLY! I already own PM, but I sure would like to own Star Fox, Pikmin 2 (need to go back and buy the first one again while I’m at it…) and FSA might not be half bad either…

Wow… didn’t think I would get credit for the news since I thought perhaps I was one of many to submit the story. Thanks 4CR!
Anyway, of those four games, Star Fox Assault is the only one I don’t have. I guess now’s the time to get it!

This is a pretty solid list of Nintendo GameCube games. Mario Star Fox, Pikmin, and Zelda; sweet.

Those are all good games, but most importantly, you have absolutely no excuse whatsoever to not buy FSA now. I mean, it’s a ZELDA game! And a great one, even single player! And now it’s really cheap, so hurry up and get it.
