Straight out the pages of Japan’s Shonen Jump magazine comes a full-page scan wrought with new Final Fantasy 3 images. If you have a hankering for shots of moogles, airship battles, and pirates wearing suits, you are in luck! We have all those in spades! You’re hankering days are no more!

For those of you out of the loop, Square Enix has been working on a complete overhaul for Final Fantasy III. SE plans to take advantage of the Nintendo DS’ hardware and remake the game with 3D visuals, new gameplay mechanics, and several other “bonus features.” Rumors of online support and a July release are still waiting to be confirmed. The developers aren’t messing around here, kids. If you think they’ll be pulling any punches with this title, you’re in for a surprise. Judging by what we’ve seen so far, they fully intend on punching you right in the face.
