Gamespot has a interesting article in which two of the members of Nintendo’s “Technology Development Department” speak about how they made the DS lite a reality. Cool to note that they redesigned and had the top screen LCD made from scratch and how they streamlined the power consumption of the system (and included a higher capacity battery) to fuel the brighter screens.
