We recently discovered this old home video of 4cr staffer Hokku on a Christmas long ago. On that wonderful day in 1996 Hokku and his sister received a Nintendo 64 and boy are they excited. I feel ya brother. I feel the love.
I’m also a little scared of how spastically excited you were. Good thing you’ve calmed down in your old age. Otherwise I’d be worried about the condition of your heart when you open that shiny new Revolution in the future.
Disclaimer: This is not actually a video of Hokku. I never anticipated getting this much of a response from a little joke. Hokku thought it was hilarious and I figured I’d just let the gag run it’s course. However, a few other sites have linked to this story and I want to clear the air. We are not in the business of claiming other people’s content as our own. But the 4cr staff does like to tease each other. So, enjoy the funny/crazy/scary video. It’s been great reading about everyones childhood memories of opening their Nintendo systems.
