Indie Game – GridWars
In case you missed the whole buzz around the best selling title of Xbox Live Arcade on the Xbox 360, Geometry Wars is a great retro-looking shooter game featuring 360 degrees of movement and targeting where all you need to do is blast your way to the high score.
Like it captured the attention of many Xbox 360 gamers, you too, sitting at your computer, can now try out this frantic shooter for free. An intrepid developer named Marco Incitti went ahead and made his own version of Geometry Wars, titled GridWars. From what I’ve played and seen of the original version, GridWars imitates very well the look and feel of its big brother and is almost equally as challenging. Go ahead, grab your dual joystiq controller and give it a try. Act fast before Microsoft sends a cease-and-desist letter for copyright infringement to Mr Incitti.
