Not two days ago we were amazed by the beauty of a couple of blurry scans from a magazine, but today we get the real deal. The official site of Tales of the Tempest is now live and features some new screenshots of the game, along with a brief description of the story, character art and a small section about the theme song.

And while we’re on the subject, DS-X2 have posted a quick translation of the scans in question. In short, the game will feature some touch screen gameplay elements, 2-4 players adventure, and people preordering the japanese version will receive a small bonus gift. Click here to read the post.

Ah so now we see the sharp images. They still look great! Too bad the DS doesn’t have texture filtering though, but whatever this game looks fun and nicely done.

wow, looking at the thumbnails I thought this was for the Gamecube. The big screens don’t look half bad either though.

That game does look great indeed. For a sec I thought this was on the cube.

Looks great, and I bet it looks even better in motion (in a higher quality video, that is…)

I’ve definitely changed my opinion on the look of the game. RPGing on the DS is going to be Fantastic!
