Hello Player 1

For all of our rebels residing in New York, the time is now…well, later tonight actually. Get over to the PaceWildenstein gallery at 545 West 22nd St. and join Nullsleep, BitShifter and friends for an evening of data destruction that won’t be forgotten. Also tomorrow night at MonkeyTown for another go at this thing we call 8bit love, featuring the talents of LoVid, Y.A.C.H.T, Bit Shifter, noteNdo, and Nullsleep.
Computer-generated beats made with 8-bit and 32-bit technologies come together in this evening of video and multimedia performance. Employing a range of materials–be they hacked Atari consoles or more recent software–the artists demonstrate a common interest in ‘dirt style’ and bringing the obsolete to colorful and rhythmic life.
If you’ve never experienced a live ChipTune show I give you my word that you won’t regret it. You might actually like it. Also check out the latest 8bitPeoples album, Nautilus by The Depreciation Guild to get a nice sampling of things to come.
