Hello Player 1

This is probably old news to some of you, but I just discovered this wonderful remix project today. Chrono Symphonic is a collection of remixes from Chrono Trigger. Beyond the 25 great audio tracks, there is also a look at a fan made Chrono Trigger movie script and trailer.
Chrono Symphonic is a project a long time in the making. Starting from the autumn days of October 2004, and ending in the wintry days of January 2006, it’s been a labor of love for everybody that has been a part of it. Initially designed to be the soundtrack for the long-desired Chrono Trigger movie (no, the movie doesn’t exist and probably never will), it encompasses 18 different artists’ takes on the way such a film should sound in an orchestral setting, and many more on how it should look and feel. Never has such an abundance of talent been thrown into such a powerful calling, and never has the game Chrono Trigger, which many of us grew up playing, known so much love.

Awesome. I love the DK, DOOM, Earthbound, and Metroid ones as well. Am I missing any?

Sonic 2. And DOOM 2 is being worked on. There was also a joke album called [RoFL] Repercussions of Fowl Lamentation. Duck Hunt in other words. It’s the best one, in my opinion, ’cause it’s hilarious.
Well, it’s not the best.
Bound Together > Kong in Concert > [RoFL] > Relics of the Chozo
And I just started listening to Chrono Symphonic. It’s quiet, though. I could always turn up my speakers.
OH! And there’s “The American Album” which is a bunch of songs (that were written by American composers) from various games. It’s pretty good as well.

Cripes!! I spent about 10 minutes downloading each track one by one, only to see the torrent link for the entire album at the top of the page as soon as I was done. ANYWAY, Chrono Trigger will probably never fall out of my Top 5 Games of All Time list and this “album” promises to bring back a TON of wonderful memories and FORCE me to play the game AGAIN!! But that’s OK. It doesn’t get much better than Chrono Trigger! I wish I could put my finger on what it is about this game that makes it SOOOO great for me. Perhaps someday I will be eloquent enough to write a retrospective of Chrono Trigger and submit it to 4CR for posting.
