It’s the Nick & Nick show. Rebel In Japan is back with a skit about the console wars. DSgamer21 treats us to some Majora’s Mask music and finally, we take a stab at the big question; are video games art?

This being our first time, I think we rambled a little, but that can always get better.
I just thought the news might be more interesting with two of us covering it. However, if people like the simple, fast news better, we can always do that.

I liked the news duo, Nick. It’s more interesting to hear a discussion on the news as well as the ever-interesting roundtable. Like the Revolution Report podcast, where they discuss the news first before moving onto the subject, it seems more interesting.
Although that raises the danger of having incredibly long podcasts, which i’m not arguing against, heh

I just started listening and now you two Nicks are talking and the thought that came to my mind: This is just like the roundtable. So you should just combine news and roundtable, like Gamespot does it. Of course you should still have that one topic which you talk about, like the normal roundtable, but the news are way more interesting if you are talking about them.

The roundtable in this podcast is the best one created so far. It was funny, entertaining, informative, and intelligent. Great work guys!
The Nick & Nick Show was also a step-up from just reading the news as well.

Great discussion by the way! I think stuff isn’t art until it’s hung in a museum, not a gallery. But all art is subjective anywho.
I always thought games were art before I even started studying art!
Art and literature inspired comic strips, comic strips inspired cartoons, cartoons inspired games, now games inspires art.
Maybe you should have some guest artists in the next discussion…

Yeah, Nick and gang - another great Podcast. I love that you’re committed to bringing us not just the typical glut of gaming talk like every other website, but the CULTURE that’s behind it. If only the gaming magazines would take your lead, maybe I wouldn’t slip through them so fast with regard only for new screenshots.
