4cr Year 1 – The Rebellion Is Spreading
Let’s continue our retrospective of 4cr’s first year with a look around the web to see all the places that 4cr has shown up. I know when the site was young other fellow bloggers would link to us, but once Gamespot discovered us with the N21 Revolution mockups the place grew exponentially.
For all of the big links that I’ve known about I’ve taken a screencap. Most recently, Nintendo of Canada linked to us on their Too Much Fun site. We were listed as a “Banned Fanatic Site” in the Nintendo “Recovery Center”. Lol. Come inside to see some screencaps of the places we’ve traveled.
Besides the ones posted above, there have been plenty of other smaller sites and blogs that have linked to 4cr. That has been one of my primary ways of finding new sites this past year. We’ve also raked in some pretty big hits from other sites like Digg, N-Sider, G4 and Yahoo Daily Pick
So what does all of this mean? Nothing really, just a way of seeing how far 4cr has come in the last year. It’s nice to be recognized and respected by other like-minded sites. Its been a fun ride.
