I think my excitement for this game has sort of taken away some of the absolute anger I feel about the terrible US localization of Dragon Quest 8. Well, maybe only just a little bit of it.

Good news, looks like the delay is really worth it ! , and Myamoto said that he want TP to be the best Zelda ever and he’s directly involved with the developpment unlike majora’s mask and WW, I’m confident , Eiji is a talented guy he’s the one behind the puzzles in OOT, and with Myamoto I guess we’ll have a Masterpiece, Now , how about some new screens !!?? c’mon Nintendo give us something

I think it would be weird for it to have Rev controls, being that it is a gamecube game. I hope it doesn’t….. save all that stuff for a full fledged Rev Zelda. Regardless I think this will be the most amazing Zelda by far.

even if the gamecube is considerd dead i can play Zelda Tp on my Revolution.
100+ hours? didnt shiggy say games were too long and that they got so boring that they wouldnt be completed? oh well im sure this game will keep me entertained from start to finsh! this could well be the GAME OF THE YEAR, BEST GAME EVER, BEST SELLING GAME EVER and Ninty’s finest moment in History!

Ocarina of Time is easily my favorite game ever, so if TP tops that it’s going to be amazing.

But the chickens! Have they said anything about the chickens?! I bet they’ve been using the extra development time to better their AI. If you hit them enough, they won’t just attack you. They’ll strategize and plot. They’ll murder you.

Seriously though, it’s way too early to say for sure, but if the confidence and expectations of this game are met then it could quite be the best Nintendo game ever.

I just hope you can still throw pigs into the water.

Actually, it would have been cool if the pigs bred, and you could like, take some pigs with you and migrate them to other islands and mess up the ecosystem. Like, there would be less long grass to cut down or something… it sounds like there’s going to be farming elements to the new zelda, so maybe…

Joseph, that sounds like my kind of game, farming, ecosystem, fishing, maybe add somewhat of a realtime weather system, where behind the scenes, things like humidity, wind, cloud, temperature, things like that would generate a real living ecosystem

That does sound like a good idea. I think the humidity and temp is taking it kinda far, but I definitely like Joseph’s idea of animals and even a simple ecosystem functions. I don’t think there are islands in the game though.

seriously, the weather/time elements on OOT were great , and that’s what i missed in both MM & WW, we know already for sure that there’s already two opposite worlds in TP, I wonder how will weather/time will managed in the twighlight realm ??, anyway TP is shaping up nicely.

I never trust when they announce length in hours for any game before it’s out. In my experience, it’s never reliable.

I was so disappointed with the original delay, but this has me feeling much better. I really think this is going to be the best Zelda yet. And I also really think it will not use the Rev controller.

Oh noes! 100 hours? I’ll never beat it. I have a full time job. DS is great because I play it during commute but 100 hours on a consol system? I’ll just have to make the time.. somehow.

Kind of off the topic, but this has been bugging me for ever. Why the hell can I not select text on the 4 color rebellion page? Is this a bug in the site or an intentional *feature*? Are you worried people will steal your news? All it does is piss off people who like to highlight text as they read.

They were saying it’s a hundred hours long, so maybe places like Lake Hylia will need a boat to go across it. That’s be cool. I liked the boating aspect of Wind Waker, except not for that extreme amount of time.

delays in Zelda games have always been a good thing in the long run.

regarding my problems with selecting text. I am running Firebird 1.5 rc2. I investigated a little more and it seems that I can select text but the highlight does not show up. On some parts of the page (such as comments) the highlight works, but on the main news blocks the highlight does not change the colors of the selected text at all making it appear that nothing is selected.

Zelda:Tp would be the best game ever in History. But the realese date should be in Thanksgiving. I just know that fans like me won’t wait till 2006. the PRICE is $50, and its a lot, so couldn’t they,just, do us a favor and put it for this Nov.

hm… thats a lot of hours…well, i am trying to imagen how many disks are going to be for this game and if Final Fantasy is going to try to compete with time and what not…we shall see… im also trying to imagen how big the players guide is going to be for this. Ofcourse i dont imagen i will be needing this, but this is going to probably going to be as thick as a dictionary or something lol

Ive been checkin the zelda site for so long now, I just want my zelda game damnit lol. I know the longer they take the better it is but im to greedy. I have paid in full already for this game, and i did so i swear about 5 months ago. But if its gonna be 100 hours of game play im all over it, thats an amazing amount of time or a zelda game. That is like final fantasy but hopefully doesnt get monotonous like our last few FF games. O, and about the chickens, there are going to be none, I already killed them all muahaha.

When does the game release?.. please tell me!!:D.. i love zelda and i have completing the first like 10000 and windwaker like 100000000000000000000000000000000 i love zelda and its the best game ever made.
