4cr reader NOlo, from Ociotakus, sends along some new and images from the 3rd Electronic Gaming Show in Mexico City. Apparently, the show isn’t very publicized outside of Mexico (I certainly hadn’t heard anything about it) but it was a big enough show to feature lots of exclusive hands-on time and the presence of Reggie.
The guys from Ociotakus were able to play Mario Kart DS, Animal Crossing, and Super Mario Strikers. They also got to Reggie to sign some fliers for their blog. Follow the link for all the pics:

Only thing I can understand from that were the babes at the bottom of the site.

LOL! I can tell you what they were doing… it was the Blockbuster booth, and they got these babes making some stupid contests to win some posters and videogames…. In that specific photo, those women managed to get all those kids to make a human pyramid o__o…
Thanks for the post guys, but I believe you got the title as EGM(electronic gaming monthly) and not as EGS(electronic gaming show) as it should be :p…
We were planning to make an english version of the post, but we werent sure if the effort was worth it or if you would feature us here
, the next time we’ll do it
!
Oh and by the way, we also got hands on, Viewtiful Joe in its 3rd multiplayer version (its a really fun game!), and the gals at the Nintendo booth were giving away some really cool Mario strikers uniforms!
There was also a booth of gamers tv, where anyone could prove their skills to become the next host of one of their tv programs or something, thats where Reggie was being interviewed…
By the way, it seems Mario Kart DS is kinda dangerous, the guy playing before me, left a few drops of blood right there under the DS :s… also some other guys fainted and threw up during the finals of the smash bros melee tournament (they were compiting to go to the international finals in Singapur or something)… so as you can see it was a very violent atmosphere :p…
thanks again and keep up the good work

Just one more thing, this is the FOURTH Electronic Game Show in Mexico, I remember all of them very well, tough the fisrt one was so ugly
2002 - No Nintendo, but “Fiera” or something like that (a webpage I think) with GameCubes. I bought here my Advance Wars
2003 - Mario Kart: Double Dash was playable. Microsoft introducted the Xbox and Xbox Live in Mexico.
2004 - Nintendo DS playable on October (remember it was released until November).
2005 - Nintendo had Mario Strikers, Mario Kart DS, Animal Crossing and Metroid Prime Hunters playables
