Prepare yourselves fanboys, this has nothing to do with Nintendo. It is however, really freakin interesting. What we have here is a video interview with Mat Noguchi of Bungie, the development house behind Halo.
Some of the more interesting bits are about the success of Bungie that lead Microsoft to build them their own building, some techie speak about the difference between PC and 360 architecture (which is based on the Power PC…same as the Revolution), the general process of creating a game and then the payoff from gamers and fans.
I love getting to see inside of development studios and hear about what really goes on there. It’s awesome to see all the hard work and passion that goes into a game. These are the people that are working day in and day out to bring you the awesome experiences you love so much. They are highly skilled and deserve every amount of credit we can give them.

Bungie has a legacy with the PowerPC platform. Halo was originally demonstrated using mac hardware.
I think it is a good thing to have this insight. It is like the extras you get on a DVD, where they have interviews with the Director, Producer and Actors - they give you a perspective into what they do, what they did and how they do it.

I love these developer insights. Loving Nintendo doesn’t stop me from loving other devs too!
…and nothing will stop me from ever loving Coffeeman.

Really interesting video, I got a lot out of it. You got to give it up for the game developers regardless if you don’t like their games or system they develop for. One thing I really like about 4CR is that it’s not a ‘pushy’ or annoying Nintendo related site it’s much more mature then that, it’s willing to show off other things that are worth mentioning even if it’s not specifically about Nintendo. Anyway, I appreciate that aspect of the site, always have.
