Actually, I was thinking it might also be open on the front — think a Wavebird with a Rev controller-sized hole just cut right out of the top and side for the Rev controller to slide and snap into.

I don’t think there’d be room for the C-stick to fit over top of the “wand” like that, so maybe the c-stick will become the gyro control. I was assuming it fit in sideways somehow.

I guarantee the REAL shell will be as sexy as the system itself. That design is too bubbly for Nintendo’s sleek new console. Neat nonetheless tho…good representation to get a visual from. Far too many people don’t understand the Rev’s controller functions. Nintendo better be good at marketing what exactly this thing does!

As for a name…I heard someone call it the Nintendo motion…not real of course…but I like it!

I’m calling it Reality Simulator.

this really covers all of the bases for Nintendo. You have total innovation plus a failsafe for all developers.

The possibilities are truly endless; this was worth every second of waiting. And the scores are just now coming in… game, set and match Nintendo.

Blaaah. For some reason I think 90% of Rev’s games are going to chicken out and resort to this control style.

Nick, sorry but that Nunchuck idea in the cradle would be very very hacky…Nintendo is all about sleek and sexy these days. What would you do with the cord? What kind of crazy latches would be needed to hack that into there….not gonna happen thank god.

I’m just not feeling the cradle/shell at all. I don’t think Nintedo will go through with it. I also don’t think the remote controller is completely finished. I like it a lot, but I’m not that wild about the nunchuk.
