[Now Sitting In On| 4cr Irc Trivia]

Nintendo aims for the female gamers in Austrailia. Haha…pretty damn funny.
It’s got a sensitive side.
The DS has a touch sensitive screen and responds to your voice. Its a whole new way to play.

lol in the second ad it looks like 2 women are about to kiss
James K - 09.11.05 11:35 am
Yeah thats lesbian porn, and the DS has tissue issues…
matt - 09.11.05 11:37 am
Ahahaha, I love that second one.
Oh, man. They’re so cute! Make me wanna buy a second DS.
BigJKO - 09.11.05 11:47 am
Tito, get me a tissue.
SavageS - 09.11.05 12:30 pm
These are truly great. This proves some Nintendo adverts are ingeniously brilliant.
zooba - 09.11.05 1:20 pm
Oh man, those ads are ingenious.
TheOtherPedro - 09.11.05 2:15 pm
That pretty funny.
Vox-Pop - 09.11.05 2:32 pm
LMAO!!
octorok - 09.11.05 3:05 pm

CoffeeMan - 09.11.05 3:16 pm
Those are so much better than the Nintendogs ads
elfman13 - 09.11.05 3:43 pm

Haha, very nice, especially the second one.
fushi - 09.11.05 4:59 pm
Rather funny, but what going on in the second on?!
Lesbian Porn on TV , tissues on the floor…hmm…
Mikey - 09.11.05 5:53 pm
I really hope nintendo dosent make a game where you use the touch screen to “touch” private parts.
Nintendofreak - 09.11.05 6:07 pm
Finally, Nintendo of Australia is doing some active marketing. These are really cool ads, I can’t wait to see them in print.
Eddie - 09.11.05 8:42 pm
Awesome ads. Right on, Nintendo of Australia
N Rumas - 09.11.05 8:51 pm
It’s the first time i’ve actually seen nintendo australia make an effort here, maybe we’ll start actually getting games here now.
Lem - 09.11.05 9:54 pm
I’m in New Zealand and there is precisely, this much
/makes fingertips really, really close
advertising for the DS. It’s good to see that those across the Tasman are getting some though.
Brooga - 09.11.05 11:11 pm
Brooga - I know your pain. Recent emigrant from NZ here, and Monaco have assfucked Nintendo in NZ. After the huge dominance Nintendo managed to have back in the NES days, they’ve pissed it all away by not doing SHIT for the past 15-odd years. I hate Monaco with every fibre of my being I do. Useless cunts. This is why Taiwan rules - we get almost every new Japanese release within a week of Japan.

It’s crazy.
In most game shops the DS has half a floor-to-ceiling shelving unit, usually shared with the GBA on the other half. PSP? It has at the very least two full floor to ceiling units in the same shops plus the games litter the free-standing “Coming Soon” and “Hot Title” free-standing shelves in the shop.
It’s not surprising though as there have been no releases of any worth for months, except Another Code which is pretty specialist.
Thank god for Play-Asia otherwise I wouldn’t have touched my DS for months.
Brooga - 09.11.05 11:53 pm
It does suck living with a NDS in Australia. I have had to import all my titles just so I had a decent software library. It looks like things will be changing with the NDS, if the rumours are correct when wi-fi takes off down under it will be done properly.
I also can’t stand the rather lax attitude towards Nintendo in comparison to the PSP. It is a great machine with good games coming out.
I hope this is a signal of change to come within NOA. Because Pal gamers are not feeling much lover.
Eddie - 09.12.05 1:19 am
Well one thing is there is at least an option of importing with the DS due to it being region free…

[off-topic]
I just watched the Kirby:CC TV Spot for the first time, and man. It blew me away, it was so hilarious.
Brilliant commercial, IMO. Definately something that’s grab me if I was in front of the telly.
