Nice to see they’re taking their network infrastructure quite seriously.

I guess this means no DS Wi-fi for Mac users…

You’re right in that it sucks that they don’t test Mac users’ connections. But if you have a wireless router, then it doesn’t matter what platform you’re on. You can connect your DS.
Don’t know how the USB schtick would work, though. But presumably, that would work fine on Macs.

I was just about the whine about Mac support too but my work has already been done.

whats awsome about the euopean version is that you dont have to sign in to nintendo and be a member to use it and help them, whats also great is that i think i can test it more than once, meaning ive already tested to help them with my connection in france, and i’ll test again when im back home in england. cant wait to see this in action

I’m just happy to:
a) Help out Ninty
b) Get myself an AC clock!
:D

/me whines about linux support.
Matt - 08.30.05 9:52 am
Matt: Even though you can’t go to their webpage doesn’t mean you can’t do the connection test. Works just fine on Wine.
And to those with concerns: I’ve checked it thoroughly. The AC clock is not spyware.

Done it, glad to help Nintendo. A pity the AC hourly chime sounds a lot more sinister than the game version…
