SWEET MONKEY BALLS!
ok, maybe monkey balls aren’t so sweet, but awesome news!
Anzanar - 08.26.05 11:07 am
Well, thank god. That was the major selling point of the game for me, and after they announced it wouldn’t be there, I decided I wouldn’t be getting a copy. Now, maybe I will.

I’m crying tears of joy!

Nintendo has “wisened up!” Not only does Metroid Hunters and Mario Kart go wifi…Zelda has it’s rightful style back…
…and we all share a tiny amount of doubt towards the Revolution why?
I truly believe Nintendo’s back! 2006 marks the re-birth of GOOD GAMES being the center of attraction in the Gaming industry…instead of over-inflated techie fluff.

this is great news, but nintendo would have to be intent on failing if they had left it out.

Keeko_CA: “…and we all share a tiny amount of doubt towards the Revolution why?”
Whuuuh? I have never shared any doubt regarding the Revolution! Never! In my mind Nintendo isn’t back, since they never left.

That’s great, and may be Zelda TP was delayed also for that reason, may they’re actually trying to add some wifi fonctionality when you play it in the Revo…. may be!!!! “crossing fingers”

Keeko_ca — Zelda’s “rightful style”? Heh, okay. Pretty strong words for your opinion. Some of us think Wind Waker was the most beautiful thing ever to happen to the series, and in fact was definitely right in-line with the series since day one. Some of us were depressed by the about-face and had to fight the urge to call the whole thing a sellout (thankfully, E3 2005 brought some examples of the real artistry they’re putting into the game.)
Also, I don’t think it’s unreasonable to doubt the Revolution. I mean, we know squat about it. The bits and pieces that have come out sound decent to me, but I’ve also not yet heard anything beyond the retro gaming that provides a better experience than my Gamecube can. When they start telling us what’s really behind the whole thing, then I’ll decide whether it’s worthwhile or not.

I was planning on buying Metroid Prime: Hunters before I had
read this article, but I had always thought that it would be even
better Online. All of the 6 new characters look awesome, and I
can’t wait to play people from around the world…
(Or maybe even you guys)
Nintendo, you have proven that you care about us fans.

Mario Kart & Metroid make me want to finally buy a DS. All i have to do now is mug someone for the cash!
sammyAD - 08.26.05 1:23 pm
Zigg and Zell…heheh sounds like the new Zig and Zag…bleh..bad joke…
Hey…I’m no hater to the style Nintendo chose to go with for the Wind Waker. I also enjoyed the game very much…not as much as OoT…but that’s a whole different topic.
Now comes Twilight Princess. DO NOT tell me you didn’t nearly sh*t your pants when you first saw screen caps. That game announcement blew over the gaming fan base like a typhoon. As much of a fan I was for the style choice of the Wind Waker, I’m MUCH more happy with the art direction in Twilight Princess. I’m also happy that Nintendo chose to take more time to do this game right. Something we all know WW could have used. If you wanna compare strictly Zelda games and give ratings out of ten…EVERY Zelda games deserves a ten…except WW gets an 8. It felt incomplete to me. I can’t explain how dissappointing it was to sail for 10 minutes to some obscure island on the map, only to recieve a butterfly bracelet. The game needed a little more work, and any TRUE Zelda fan has to agree.
Keeko_ca - 08.26.05 1:33 pm
…oh! And about my Revolution comment…I’m certain everyone of us is already sold. I know I am! I’m just saying…that there’s a small speck of doubt in each and every one of us. That doubt however is far over-shadowed with confidence however…
Keeko_ca - 08.26.05 1:37 pm
Keeko_ca , I can’t agree more with you about zelda WW, it is one of the most beautiful games ever, but the scavenger hunt at the end was boring like hell and we all felt that this part of the game was done in a rush, about REVO , I can tell you that I DON’T HAVE ANY DOUBTS AT ALL!!!!, nintendo is not the kind of company that dare calling a console”revolution” with no reason, and every single console that N made is a new step of the Nintendo Way of videogaming, and Revolution will be a VERY BIG ONE………..
MaCrAmaN - 08.26.05 2:08 pm
woohoo! another great move by nintendo. even thought the delay makes me a little angry, the end results will be absolutley worth waiting for.
Alex - 08.26.05 2:32 pm
SWEET JUICES OF JESUS! YES!
Bob - 08.26.05 2:56 pm
Thank God!
This is awesome.

I’m SO glad that it has WiFi because that shows that Nintendo listens to its gamers. Unfortunately I’m not sold on this because it’s a deathmatch Metroid game- something that, I along with numerous game publications, weren’t a big fan of in Metroid Prime 2 Echoes. Too bad it’s not a 1 player ADVENTURE.
BreakfastPills - 08.26.05 3:44 pm
I can agree with you on Metroid Prime 2: Echoes, BreakfastSpills. But, First Hunt was fun. And I don’t know why this won’t be just as fun, and better.
I’m on the verge of crying tears of sheer joy.
NintendoFreak411 - 08.26.05 4:03 pm
Metroid over the Internet via Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection. Totally worth the delay!

Does MPH features any tournament modes, with auto selection for winners for the next roung or something?
haha - 08.26.05 6:50 pm
It is a 1 player game as well. Thats what they said at e3 anyways…
Micheal - 08.26.05 9:36 pm
I guess I can stop praying about this now.
BullTrue - 08.26.05 11:33 pm
From what I’ve heard from PAX attendees, the single-player retains much of the gameplay of Prime, yet requires more skill to aim and dodge. Which is the game I wanted Prime to be.
