Actually, I’m very curious — I’ve had the game for weeks now and no humping puppies have ever appeared on my screen.

I figured that either it never actually existed in the game (contrary to the reports from E3), or it was removed to get an “E” rating out of the ESRB.

Also, that shot looks way too clear. Is it doctored?

As for real Nintendog humping, I’ve seen something that looked like it, but one puppy stopped suddenly and the other couldn’t put on the brakes resulting in a dogpile~

Yes, this is fake. Just look at the clock in the lower right hand corner, you can clearly make out a ghost image of the clock, indicating that they just photoshopped the same puppy in two different poses.

And actually you can see ghosting of the stripe on the floor too.

That “blonde chick” at E3 was G4tv’s heavenly Tina Wood!

Umm, I’m not sure the ghosting proves anything. The DS’s screen is notoriously hard to take clear pictures with.

Plus, how the hell would you get the floor in the exact same position? Camera control is very limited, and getting a still shot is nearly impossible if you have puppies in motion. i.e. not sleeping.

No, the only real problem I have with this shot is that it’s too clear…

Hey, I didn’t say there was a mod. Getting a mod into a DS game would be rather difficult, if not impossible.

But, the poses are there — I’ve heard from two friends directly that their dogs ended up in a similar pose at least once. And no reliable information exists on whether the game actually *has* doggie-humping or not. So, there you go.

there is doggy humping, but i believe its only when you interact with other peoples dogs, ive had multiple people tell me that their dog was humping anothers!

No really. It’s just photoshopped. I got the idea from the Hot Coffee mod (obviously) and the theory that programmers will leave some unused code in the unconfirmed “Nintendogs: Holiday Edition”. You can guess the rest.

When I played the game at GDC earlier this year and I was rubbing the dogs chest, it actually turned it’s butt right at me. So this screenshot doesn’t really surprise me, but may be it’s just out of context. But it’s still funny.

Its easy to tell this is fake.

For starters, when Dogs are on the bottom screen, the clock and date are on the top screen with all of the other information. The bottom screen then has two buttons in the left hand corner to let you access the menu’s at any time.

Thus, this is no mod, simply a very bored lame-ass with Photoshop.

i have recnetly stumbled upon this my self and i asked around the office… the say that a dog can jump and fall on a dog for a short second and can recreat this very scene. oh and yes you can set the clock on the bottom screen and using the a button for going to the menu… ne way its a photoshop/+
