UPDATE: Thanks to 4ndy for pointing out that Play-Asia (which many people prefer over Lik-Sang) is offering DS units at $149. Which in the end basically evens out to the same price as Lik-Sangs free shipping offer. And you dont have to buy a game.

I just ordered a white DS from play-asia.com for $149, rather than the usual $169. Which is basically free shipping when you consider I paid about $25 for UPS shipping.
Oh yeah, I’ve heard that Lik-sang’s free shipping takes FOREVER (e.g. no earlier than 4 weeks).

Yeah, this one is for Alex. He’s been begging me to get him one after I got Peter the $99 one from Play-Asia in March.
I couldn’t wait any longer to play three-player Meteos/Bomberman so I asked him what color, and after two weeks of deliberation, he decided on the white one.
This is me thanking Nintendo for pretty much standardizing single-card multiplayer. Three-player Meteos and Bomberman, every day and night baby!
Not only that, but I’m sure he’ll show it off to all his classmates (some who have only a PSP and Twisted Metal) which will make them all want to get a DS of their own! Muahahahaha! Let the popularity of the DS spread like FIRE.
I may be crazy, but I think it’s totally worth it.

i nerver ordered from lik-sang , all my orders go to Play asia and i can say that they really are great ! i ordered my DS from there, feel the magic, mario64, yoshi touch n go, meteos and Kirby ! i got the all by post like 7 days later for 3$ shipping !!!

It was $152.10 with UPS ground shipping, an excellent deal, even better than going to the store and paying tax on it.

That’s a pretty good deal. I’ve got a couple of Nintendo DSes now, and my favorite one (besides my signatured one) is the white one that I imported. No point in waiting, you could just buy another one anyway, right?

As a Canadian citizen, if I order one of those beautiful white DS machines (I’m a bored PSP owner btw!), will I have to pay a duty fee when it hits my borders?
I think I’ll be getting a white DS regardless…I’m just curious.
