Behemoth’s New Game

[Now Playing| Killer 7 - GC]

Behemoth, developers of Alien Hominid, have unvieled their newest project at Comicon yesterday. They were quick to state that the game has only been up and running for a month, but Im still excited to see what they can do. If they can bring great gameplay and total fun to their future games the way they did with Alien Hominid, Im there.

If Alien Hominid is a comedic take on Metal Slug, then The Behemoth’s Next Game is a take on Double Dragon. Or perhaps Treasure’s Guardian Heroes, what with all the stylized medieval art, four-player simultaneous gameplay, and RPG-lite leveling-up. But we’ll stick with Double Dragon for now, seeing as how the designers threw in a special parody of that game’s introduction at the beginning of the Comic-con demo.

Nice!

The Behemoths seems in the right way to conquer the gaming industry. Starting simple, going on with originality. :)

I hope the DS could get titles like this and Alien Hominid; IMO that’s the perfect plateform for this game genre.

This game really really looks great. It’s been too long since someone put together an old school 2d fighting game like this.

Sweet, it’s called The Behemoth’s Next Game. (don’t change it! XD) And it looks a little bit like Guardian Heroes, a game that I reeeeeeally miss.

Man, I write a post about this game and as soon as I finish I go back a page and see that it’s already been done. That’s what I get for going on vacation! Oh well, I’m back now and I’ll be sure to check that my posts haven’t already been done.
