[Mario is smashing prices!]

Want to get one of the most fun and creative RPGs of last year…for free?
UPDATE: I just wanted to clear this up a bit. With the purchase of Paper Mario you can get a gift voucher. Its not a rebate on the game, but a $20 voucher towards your next purchase. So, its more like two $20 games for the price of one, as opposed to one free game.
Anyway, Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door is now only $20. You can find the voucher on EB’s May Catalog on page 40.

i thought it was just 20 bucks off?

$20 - $20 = $0
In Amerika $0 is considered free, but it’s not really.

CAN YOU GET THE EB CATALOG IN THE STORE?
BRANDON - 05.25.05 11:32 am
dude, the deal is that when you buy this game you get a 20 gift card for eb. So it’s not really free.

The guy in the store I went to at lunchtime today says he got notified by HQ that the two deals are incompatible…

Cool deal. I’ll have to run by EB sometime soon.

I ran by EB Games at lunch today and hooked up this deal. It’s definitely all good! The catalog is in the store (has Episode III on the cover), and the clerk didn’t even bat an eye at selling it new for $20. And yes, it is a $20 EB voucher, so if you’re going to buy something from EB in the near future, it’s probably worth your time. Good luck… do it while it lasts!

i have the $20 voucher, i’m gonna get papermario for free !
silversurfer - 05.25.05 3:27 pm
Word on cheapassgamer.com is that EB won’t honor the coupon unless you’ve paid regular ($50) price for Paper Mario.
Still, a steal at $20!

They seem to be playing in the “cannot be combined with any other offer or discount space” here… beware. You may just get your mail-in offer rejected out of hand.

Aww well… guess we’ll see. Even if I don’t get the voucher, that’s still a good price for an awesome game!
