Pennant Chase & Geist Delayed

News coming in today indicates that Nintendo Pennant Chase Baseball and Geist have both been delayed…again.

For Geist I dont see this as a bad thing. For one, it was scheduled to come out in June and compete with the much more stylish and ‘media’ worthy Killer 7. Also, every little bit of development time seems to help this game, as each new incarnation seems better than the last.

Pennant Chase is another story though. There is a reason Baseball games are released at the beginning of Baseball season. Still, it sounds like the game is going to be great and little more time wont kill anyone. However, I have to wonder, is Nintendo planning to continue this franchise? If they are, and its on a yearly basis, this certainly will eat into development time for the next iteration.

Anyway, Nintendo Pennant Chase Baseball is now scheduled for a July 5th, and Geist will now arrive sometime in August 2005.
