Will Wrights amazingly ambitious PC game, Spore, looks great. Along with some E3 precense a site has also been launched for the game.
The animated intro is great! Does anyone know a way to rip a flash animation so I can have a copy?

load up the direct URL:
http://spore.ea.com/galaxy.swf
and that should work.
I can’t wait for this game, it looks like it’ll be the perfect Anti-Sims, which is quite ironic, if you ask me.
The Anti-Sims in that it will be a very fun game, but not as (mostly) mindless as the Sims itself is, and that it will probably sell faster than hotcakes.

best way to rip flash movies is to clear your cache, then load the page up, then look in your cache for swfs. if you’re on a IE on a PC, the files are in X:\Documents and Settings\

Easier way is to use firefox and go to View Page Info, then Media tab, and select the swf and save it. You can do the same with embedded movies and whatnot.

This game kinda reminds me of Giants. The architecture and the lighting…
