Nintendo Tetris

[Now Playing| Puyo Pop Fever - DS]

That’s the name of the new Tetris game planned for DS, should be a little different than the other Tetris since it’s going to use most of the DS’s features.

I hope we see it at E3; another puzzle game to my collection.

Sigh, the Russian guy that made Tetris was doubtebly trying to make a game so revolutionary as this. I wish people would actually come up with a game that’s not a Tetris clone (like Meteos, Super Puzzle Fighter, etc) but something just as simple.

Polarium was a nice puzzle game, imo

uh, Meteos isn’t a Tetris clones. Oh wait, unless it’s because stuff falls from the sky. But other than that, it’s not a clone.
Meteos is, however, a pretty heavy clone on Tetris Attack. Still, it’s not similar to the original Tetris.

Blocks fall from the top to the bottom. You must clear these blocks before the blocks line up all the way to the top. This is a description of a Tetris game.

Thats a decription that could befit a number of puzzle games. Just because Tetris did it first doesn’t mean others shouldn’t improve and innovate around the formula.

Im sure this will bring in a lot of “Non-gamers” like Nintendogs will. I remember my mom, someone who likes nothing to do with videogames loved the orignal Tetris for the Gameboy.
