Hello Player 1
I found this link in a comment of another post, and though it should deserve it’s own post. Seeing SquareEnix interest in Nintendo’s upcoming console and plans is very interesting, especially for the RPG fans.

Is anyone else actually reading this? It says that you’ll only be able to go online with people you already know (with a few exceptions). I’m curious to see how that’s going to work.

Yeah, It looks like there’s a lot of stuff around the revolution that’s not even hardware related. Hopefully E3 will be given us more information on all of this.

it could work like some kind of messenger, you can chat with a group of friends and restrict people that you don’t know, I find this great! you create your friends list and you play online with them.

I’ve heard more good Nintendo news this year, than the whole Lifespan of GBA SP and GC COMBINED
I mean, who here remembers E3 04? All Nintendo had on display was multiplayer Pac-Man and the whole “connectivity” gimmick. That was BEYOND embarassment.

I think you mean E3 ‘03. E3 ‘04 was the DS and the new Legend of Zelda game.

I thought the whole “connectivity†idea was really cool, the cost (hardware) was the problem.
