It seems Sonic for DS will be on showing in it’s final and complete form on the showfloor of E3. According to SPOnG it won’t be a button driven game, but will use the touch screen.
SPOnG can confirm that this game will be something of a surprise, with the usual Sonic button-driven capers being replaced by an all-new touch-panel control scheme.
Will it be like those tech demo we saw last E3, where you were sliding the Stylus left and right rythmically on the bottom screen? 12 days left before all the questions are answered.

My friend Kyle broke a prototype stylus playing that Sonic DS tech demo. It was funny ’cause I got the gameplay on film when it happened, and he got the high score of the day, I think.

Well if it is just the racing demo then that’ll make for a pretty poor game, then again they have had plenty of time to make something decent. Here’s for hoping eh.

Sonic Adventure was the last sonic game that I really enjoyed a lot… SA2 was too cheaply made in my opinion. I hate it when video games make character clones, and only change a few abilities and the model.

the tech demo last year was one of the lamest things in the ds room. if i wanted to play that sort of thing, i’d play the last level of feel the magic.
nick/matt/whoever, are you going to be at e3? it would be cool to meet up or something because i’m going with 3 other friends.
