Okay so I was watching a talkshow earlier today and they had these child inventors on. The kids showed their inventions and then were given some gifts. They each got a Gamecube and Donkey Konga 2 and some bongos. I thought it was nice that the Gamecube and Konga got some coverage.
The show? Oh fine, it was the Ellen Degeneres show.
It doesn't get much cool than this.

And what’s wrong with Ellen’s show? I watch it everytime i work at home. She’s given away other nintendo stuff in the past.
On another note, at a McDonalds near my house there are 2 nintendo gamecube kiosks for kids to play multiple nintendo games of their choice. Each kiosk has 2 sides with a screen and two controllers per side. The games were MarioKart DD, Super MonkeyBall and a few others. I thought it was a brilliant inroad to capture market. Too bad they didn’t do it at nearly every mcdonalds. Once they got the kiosks in place they could just switch out the consoles when they are updated.
