With all the talk of Next Generation & Edge lately, I wanted to point out another source for intelligent gaming discussions. Gamasutra’s (like said magazines) strength is in the fact that it is about the game industry, not previews or reviews. They are also a great source to look for employment opportunities. Most recently, they had a great article that looked at combat animation in games.

You will have to register before you can view any articles, but its worth it.
