Remember the comic Sharknife I mentioned a few weeks ago? Well, I picked it up at my local comic book shop today. This comic is just plain fun! Crazy and off the wall insanity. I love it. The art is gorgeous and the writing is zany. Defintely worth picking up.
I came across this one page and knew I had to scan it. For all of you gamers out there who dont read comics…maybe Ill eventually get you to start. I thought of you all when I saw this page:
I also found out that there will be a free Sharknife comic given away on Free Comic Book Day. FCBD? Yeah, thats right. Every year there is a day where you can go into any comic shop and pick up free comics! Its happening on May 7th. Tons of publishers offer comics for the masses on this wonderful day. So, there is even more incentive for you to start reading comics.
Aw man. I had a chance to pick up Sharknife at APE (Alternative Press Expo) in San Francisco but I DIDN’T. It looks really good.
I was kind of put off by the fact he was charging $10 for personalized drawings. Also he seemed kind of angry.
It was my first comic convention so I was kind of hesitant to read the entire comic in front of the booth. Do you know if that’s considered okay? I need to google convention etiquette or something.
