[Now Playing| YTaG - DS]

More scans from NP. This time there are few new shots of Castlevania DS and an interview with Koji Igarashi, Producer of the game. People at Konami sure seem to love the DS.

Why is it a GBA port to you? It’s a brand new game with the same old Castlevania goodness. I’ve been playing Circle of the Moon lately, and I’m totally hyped to get this new one.

I love CotM. I bought it for my DS. I can’t wait for this game, even if some “people” claim its a GBA port without any shred of evidence.

By virtue of it using the touch screen to cast spells and destroy objects alone, it is not a port.
By your logic, any sequel is a port.

but still the graphics are GBA like and the touch screen is …let’s say just used instead of pushing the pose button, I think that only nintendo gonna give us some serious ports for the ds. be patient

This is one of the reasons I bought the DS at launch, I knew that Konami was working on Castlevania.
I was even more pleased to find it a sequel to the greatest Castlevania game ever (IMHO)
