Speaking as a person from the UK, i would just like to say that the bear character, isn’t that funny and seems an odd choice from Nintendo UK PR.. obviously they think this endorsemetn is ‘cool’ and speaks to the British ‘youf’ of today.

it is certainly an interesting choice. the only connection i could really see is the whole ‘touching’ gimmick nintendo has got going and the bear’s tail popping out everytime somebody touches his belly
