In its third iteration, the Naruto fighting games have been huge successes and fan favorites on the Gamecube in Japan. Conisisting of a bunch of Anime/Manga characters, this game most closely resembles Super Smash Brothers with cel shaded Anime graphics.
Unfortunately, fighters are few and far between on the Cube. Yeah, we do have Smash Bros, Soul Caliber 2 and a few others. But really, can you ever have too many good fighting games? I think not.
I dont have much to say about this game, cuz I dont have it yet. I actually just placed my order. Everyone and their mother says this game is awesome, so I cant wait. Plus, Ive got to get myself ready for the awesome looking DS version. Hopefully I dont have to end up importing that one too.
So, without further ado, follow these links to get the skinny of Naruto 3. Once I get the game Ill let everyone know what I think.
You can pick up the game for around $60 from Play-Asia or Link-Sang.

My friend has this game, and he won’t shut up about it. Apperently it kicks much ass.

The reason it’s not here is because the anime is not here. It’s like releasing a video game about the movie Spider Forest. Never heard of it? Then why would you buy the game?

PGC just did a review on this. Even though I’m not an avid anime fan, I am considering importing it.

I love the dog character, can’t remember if it’s from Naruto 2 or 3 though. The special moves are amazing in that game.

This game is awesome!
I like the way that the fights don’t keep to a rail.
( You can move freely around, at least in Multiplayer )
There is a wide variety of Characters and a Shop too!
It’s quite easy to play even if you aren’t all too great at special attacks and combos.
The DS game is also lots of fun, only it’s a little short.
( Only takes a couple of hours )
BMAL, the dog (Akamaru) is in Naruto 3.

It (or the first one) will probably be coming to the states in a while, since the Naruto cartoon is going to be aired on Cartoon Network this Saturday.
