Another new game popped up on EBGames.com. This time its Metroid Pinball for the DS. Hmmm, I guess I could see that with the morphball and all.
People all across the net are screaming about Nintendo whoring out another franchise. As long as it isnt made by the Mario Pinball team I bet it will be great. Mario Pinball was alright, but not Nintendo franchise quality.

There was a time when people begged for more Metroid games, and NOW they complain that Metroid is getting too much exposure? Utterly ridiculous, and even repulsive now that I think about it.
I honestly don’t get why people complain when a certain franchise starts to branch out to even more games. Newsflash, people! Mario and Pokemon probably wouldn’t have reached the levels of popularity they’re at today had these various games not come out. It’s called expanding your horizons…
Whatever. I’m watching this title no matter what the naysayers say. Unless, as you say, Fuse Games is the developer. They really botched Mario Pinball compared to Jupiter’s work on Pokemon Pinball.

I’ll definately be getting this game. I love franchise pinball games.
Does anyone remember Sonic Spinball? I love that game so much. The fusion of Pinball and Platformer for the most part. Each level had tons of different board sections with their own objectives. It was cool how you could change Sonic’s path in the air unlike lot’s of straight up pinball games. I’ve played it a few times recently on XBox and GameCube, but it’s one hell of a hard game.
When i was a little kid with the original gameboy, I loved the game “Gator’s Revenge” for some reason. I played it recently on some website…not as cool as i remember..
anyway…

Metroid Pinball? Why not? I’ve personally been waiting for a game like this. I wonder if it’ll have all the power-ups?

Oh, I hardly even thought of all the possibilities inherited from pure metroid games… What if it even had a map, with secrets, bosses, energy tranks, locked rooms, classic enemies everywhere, spider ball……..gawd. Of course there would be plenty of warps to far away places to make it less cumbersome getting around.
Phat.
