Ive never actually used NetFlix or Gamefly, but people seem to love them. It cant be any worse than the ‘no late fees’ scheme Blockbuster is trying to push.
Gamefly is now offering DS games. There is a free trial period you can sign up for and then its $22 a month after that. Sounds like a pretty good deal to me.

i had the free trail of gamefly when they first opened. this service is AWSOME. game came to my door in two days or less, and i’m on the other side of the country from where they ship. someday when i’m not POOR i will be their customer again.

Gamefly is great. Unfortunately, their great service kind of stops when your free trail is over. I do not mind waiting 4-5 days for a game, but the quick turn-around takes a noise dive when the trail is over.
All-in-all, GF is a great service and I recommend it to everybody.
I’d REALLY like to know how much the rental industry takes a bite out the overall picture. I’d like to see the same for used games.
Did you know that publishers STILL make money off used games in Japan? Yeah, vendors need to report such activity. Granted, I’m sure this doesn’t happen all the time, but the major retailers must cooperate. That’s awesome. Imagine if Gamestop and EB Games did that?

11$/game/month. If you can beat games rather quickly, then this is a decen’t Idea. If you are renting DS games and you spend more than 3 months on one of them, then you might has well have bought it.
It’s an interesting Idea, probably loved more by hardcore gamers with no lives.

True. I guess Blockbuster is running a service like this too. Its cheaper and you get two free rentals in store per month. Not sure if they have DS games though.
